Old Boy Turned Prime Minister: La’auli Speaks on Marist Spirit and Service at St Joseph’s, Samoa

St Joseph’s College, Samoa, was honoured to welcome back The Honourable La’aulialemalietoa Leuatea Polataivao Fosi Schmidt, Prime Minister of Samoa and proud Old Boy of the College, during his recent visit.

Returning to the very campus where he once served as Head Boy, the Prime Minister spoke warmly of his formative years at St Joseph’s, describing how the Marist Brothers and his teachers helped shape his character, leadership, and faith. He told students that as he looked across the assembly, he could see himself in them, and urged every Josephite to uphold the Marist values of discipline, service, and respect that guided him from his school days into national leadership.
